In creating this poster, I wanted to highlight how Erik's presence in the operahouse is relatable to that a shadow: fleeting and uncertain. Something I knew I wanted to stay away from was the iconic mask, because it is not true to the novel, it is a theatrical adaption of Erik's disfigurement.
